Lovely old and quaint venue, top location next to the town square opposite the Domkirke, the nature, the beach and of cause the sea and the pub next door with the friendly locals, truly enjoyed our stay. They provided lots of amazing choices for breakfast that was included.

Classy historic hotel in a perfect location in Ribe. Staff were extremely nice, room was very comfortable and large compared to many. A tad noisy but that is a small price for the history and great location. I would certainly stay there again.

It is a wonderful old hotel, the oldest in Denmark. Our room was comfortable and we loved being in the heart of Ribe. It was easy to walk to nearby quaint shops and restaurants. The domkirke was next door --- currently undergoing renovation.
Only difficulty ---- it lots of stairs, narrow hallways, and no elevator (oldest hotel in Denmark).

The staff were constantly incredibly nice and accommodating. We booked standard double room, it was modern.

Poor service level. Staff too few. Staff not even polite, breakfast poor and served in canteen style. No form of luxury. Far too expensive for the type of hotel it now is

I enjoyed the stay here. The breakfast was very very good with those prices and had plenty of food. The workers were really kind. There was free Wi-Fi in all rooms and the service in general was good! The facilities were modern and easy to use.

The hotel is set up centrally in the centre of the absolutely amazing town of Ribe. It's a totally charming place, lovely decorated and fairy- tale like. We have arrived late in the night, the keys to the room and the parking were nicely prepared for us with all info we could think of. The room was very nice, clean and cosy and the staff are just extremely friendly and helpful. Everything has been arranged exactly how we would wish for it, both in the room and what concerned attractions package and parking. If you want to spend some great time in the authentic atmoshpere and try some of the best Danish food, we can definitely recommend Dagmar Hotel! We'll be back.
The price in general is a bit high, although for this region of Denmark it seems to be quite a standard (and it was still worth it)

Disinterested bored front desk staff, unhelpful, drag your own cases up the stairs. Everything was too much trouble for them to bother. Hotel has great potential, if someone with enthusiasm would buy it.

Well located historical building with interesting rooms, complete with authentic sloping floor! Parking outside and good free WiFi
Although modernised, it feels rather 70s in style with old fashioned carpets and old bathroom fittings. Breakfast buffet average for Denmark. Not cheap for what you get, history aside.

Fine location in heart of Ribe opposite cathedral. Lots of character with sloping floors. Superb restaurant.
Bar service was poor - the waitresses were also serving food and seemed overloaded. On our second night the bar was closed completely.

a charming stay within steps of great city attractions
I loved how easy it was to stroll to both the beautiful Ribe Cathedral just a few steps away and the vibrant square that comes alive with local charm, making daily explorations a delight , and the breakfast buffet was a relaxing way to start my mornings as I enjoyed my time in this quaint town.

The staff is extremely nice and friendly and speak fluent English. They tried their best in answering any quetion I had. The receptionish even helped me with carrying my luggage up to my room since I had my hands full with my carry-on and purse. Moreover, the hotel is situated in the centre of town, right by the cathedral and where the watchman starts the stroll.

Really lovely building, very old and traditional, right in the centre of town on a medieval town square.
The bed was way too soft with little back support, meaning that we got a terrible night's sleep. The room was also too hot, I think air conditioning is required as tha natural ventilation was limited. The breakfast was pretty limited, considering how expensive the hotel was compared to other places around. They'd already run out of most of the nice bread by 9.30am, even though breakfast is served until 10am. Most irritatingly, the staff had lost my booking and insisted on making a new one, resulting in me being charged twice in the end. Given that this hotel was already twice as expensive as any others around, and also that I raised this as a concern to the staff directly and was assured that it wouldn't be a problem, this really irritated me. I would be reluctant to stay here again.

Nice hotel with free wi-fi, off-site car park, and helpful staff. They even helped me find my lost bracelet on my first stay. I highly recommend it for a romantic escape.
